Annuals Archive
We are currently in the process of archiving the full set of Mungret College Annuals from 1879 to the closure of the school. Below represents our work to date on this immense task. It is hoped that we can supply the full archive here in time.
The Annuals are provided in PDF file format. This format is versatile, searchable, downloadable and will allow users to research the college in a more complete way. We are also hoping to provide the annuals in more web friendly ‘page-flip’ mode using Flash. We are currently sourcing this software.
We also point out that the files can be very large – some reaching over 80MB (average 35MB). If you are on metered internet access with data caps (a mobile phone plan for example) downloading these files may incur a fee from your ISP. We suggest you download the documents on a fixed line connection free from usage caps and charges.
We acknowledge with grateful thanks the support and assistance given to us by Limerick City and County Library in making the college annuals available to us for all past pupils and their families to enjoy.
