Mungret College Past Pupils Union Annual Golf Outing & Dinner – Sept 2017
Dear Member,
Our President Desmond O’Neill invites you to our annual golf outing & dinner on Friday 8th Sept 2017 at Castletroy GC followed by dinner at the Castletroy Park Hotel in Limerick.
The day kicks off with golf from 11.30am to 1.30pm. A time sheet will be in operation and if you have any preference in relation to pairings/times let us know when sending your payment. Timings allocated on a first come first served basis.
The AGM will follow the golf in the Castletroy Park Hotel at 7.30pm with dinner at c.8.30pm. The hotel will be our base for the weekend.
A limited number of twin rooms have been pre-booked with the hotel. To avail of these please contact reservations on 061-335566 quoting Reservation No 235666. A credit card will be required to hold the booking but won’t be charged until check out. We have negotiated a rate of €65pp for B&B in a twin room. Single supplements are available.
Remember, there are only a limited number of these rooms being held, and you must pay the hotel separately.
As in previous years we are again providing for those who may want to just play golf, go to the dinner only or do both. Costs are – Golf €35 / Dinner €35 / Golf & Dinner €70.
Please post your booking together with cheque (Payable to Mungret College PPU) to
Karl Roche,

If you wish to communicate with Karl his email is karlfroche@eircom.net
As advised, all invitations/communications are now being sent by email. If you are aware of a past pupil who doesn’t have access to email we’d be grateful if you could let them know.
This year’s reunion coincides with the 50th anniversary of the class of ‘67 so expect to see a lot of names from that year.
Finally, if you fancy a trip down memory lane and would like to see the developments that have taken place in our old Alma Mater, our colleagues in the college, The Limerick Christian Centre have invited all to visit on the Saturday. They have excellent restaurant facilities if you wish to avail of lunch..
Yours sincerely,
Paul Kerrigan
