Mungret Fail to win Union of Irish Schools Golf

Mungret, who have a great record in this competition, finished well down the field at this years event played recently at Milltown G.C.

The team of Brian Garland, Victor Ryan, John Power and Karl Roche didn’t shoot the lights out this year.

The team obviously missed local talent Vinnie Becker who was otherwise disposed on a beach in Spain. With one trophy down the College hope to make amends at the forthcoming Inter Jesuit competition in September so all aspirants please take to the practice fairways and improve the swings.
